According to sources when the film was announced many members of Indias 1983 World Cup winning team were invited. It was a trip down memory lane for the players. Krishnamachari Srikkanth who was a hard-hitting batsman in those days shared with the audience how Kapil had boosted the teams confidence by making them believe that they could win the World Cup.
Kabir is has huge expectations from this film as his last film Tubelight had bombed at the box office. Ranveer shared the picture from the cricket ground and wrote: Rain Rain go away.
