It is said that in politics there are no permanent enemies. In Pakistan too, two main rival parties have now joined hands to challenge Imran Khans candidature for the Prime Minister as his political party doesnt have absolute majority. The PML-N and PPP will now field their joint candidate for the post of Prime Minister to challenge Imran Khan in the National Assembly of Pakistan.
Imran Khan's party had won 116 out of 270 seats and he can form a government only by taking support from some independents and minor parties.
Miriam Aurangzeb, the spokesperson of PML-N said, "It is a coalition which is against the rigging of elections, and where all political parties were not given equal opportunities to participate in the election.
However, it would be difficult for the opposition to challenge the appointment of Imran Khan as the Prime Minister in Parliament as they are short of numbers. A few other nationalists and religious parties have also this coalition which has been named the All Party Conference.
