On day 1 of the auction, Bengaluru Bulls had made the second most expensive purchase of the day by acquiring Rohit Kumar for Rs 81 lakh, while the Jaipur Pink Panthers bought Manjeet Chillar for Rs 75.5 lakh.

Here are the latest developments that have taken place in the auction so far: 

On day 2 of the auction, although, 10 players from Pakistan were up for grabs, none of the teams showed any interest in them.

The first successful bid of the day was made by the Bengal Warriors for Bhupender Singh, however, his price was yet to be confirmed. Another successful buy of day 2 was the Telugu Titans buying Vinod Kumar for Rs 44.5 lakh.

Tamil Nadu acquired the services of defender Anil Kumar in the auction of day 2. While the base price of category A players was Rs 20 lakh, category B & C players attract a base price of Rs 12 lakh and Rs 8 lakh respectively.

While Jaipur Pink Panthers bought Manoj Dhull for Rs 21.5 lakh, Sachin Kumar went to the Bengaluru Bulls for Rs 46 lakh.

Bajirao Hodage was sold to Dabang Delhi for Rs 44.5 lakh. Jaipur Pink Panthers made a successful bid to buy Jaideep Singh for Rs 50 lakh.

Gujarat bought Vikas Kale for Rs 12.6 lakh while Manish went to Patna Pirates for Rs 12 lakh.

Previously having played for Dabang Delhi and Patna Pirates, Suresh Kumar was sold to U-Mumba for Rs 30.5 lakh.

Sunil, who had previously played for U-Mumba and Patna Pirates went to Dabang Delhi for Rs 21 lakh.

Suraj Desai became the most expensive buy of the day so far by being bought for Rs 52.5 lakh by Dabang Delhi.

Bengal Warriors won a successful bid for Rs 45 lakh for Maninder Singh. Puneri Paltan acquired Rohit Kumar Choudary for Rs 28.5 lakh.

Bronze winner at the Junior National Championships, Sachin was bought by Gujarat for Rs 36 lakh. He will be making his PKL debut this year. Haryana bought Prashant Kumar Rai for Rs 21 lakh.

• Team UP buys Surender Singh for Rs 28.5 lakh.

• Haryana makes another successful bid to acquire the services of Gurvinder Singh for Rs 16.2 lakh.

• Telugu Titans further strengthen their attack by buying Nilesh Salunke for Rs 49 lakh. He has been a permanent part of the Titans' squad for the last four seasons.

• Bidding resumes after a lunch break.

• Virender Singh sold to Patna Pirates for Rs 12.2 lakh.

• Navjot Singh goes to Nemgaluru Bulls for Rs 20 lakh.

• Haryana buys Rakesh Kumar for Rs 11 lakh to strengthen its defence.
