The exhibition of the paintings in Kishangarh art tradition is being liked by the visitors and also being purchased. The paintings related to Rasleela, Gopashtami, Annakoot and Makhanchori are hit. Various schools and instructions celebrated Krishna Janmashtami on September 1 this time since this year the festival falls on Sunday.

Krishna Janmashtami is an annual Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu on the eighth day of the dark fortnight in the lunar month of Shrawana of the Hindu Calendar which falls on September 2 this year. The day is marked by dance-drama enactments and diorama display of the life of Krishna, devotional singing through the midnight when Krishna is believed to have been born, fasting, night vigil, festivities and sweets distribution is held at many places.

Krishna Janmashtami is followed by the festival Nandotsav in mathura and Vrindavan, which celebrates the occasion when Nanda Baba distributed gifts to the community in honour of the birth of Krishna. The tradition of Rasa Lila is popular in Mathura and Bharatpur regions. In Kurukshetra, temples organize recitation of Bhagavata Purana and Bhagavad Gita.

In Maharashtra, and neighbouring states in India, on Janmashtami, where pots of yoghurt and milk products are hung high up from second or third level of a building. Various teams of youth and boys called the "Govindas" form human pyramids to break the pots. In many countries migrant Hindus celebrate the festival with great enthusiasm. ISKCON temples worldwide celebrate Krishna Janmashtami in which the followers take part with devotion and piety.
