Digitisation of research-facilitative material in disability education is helpful in planning differentiated learning: Study
"Learning by differently abled children with their diverse needs necessitates the develioment of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) after their assessment and diagnosis is done. The process becomes efficient and effective if evidence-based and clinically tested instruction material in digital format is available in the institution. The preliminary results of the study at Disha Foundation in Jaipur suggest.
Digitization
makes instruction material available anywhere and anytime to teachers and
caregivers to foster and support the learning of each individual child,"
said the researchers at the institution whose paper has been accepted for an
up-coming conference early-September on 'Digitality and Communication' in
Hyderabad.
With the schedule of keynote addresses, panels, poster and
presentation finalize for the conference 'Digitality & Communication: The
Cultural Logic of Data Societies' at EFL University,
Hyderabad from
September 5 to 7, my paper as a researcher at Disha Foundation titled "The
Case of Digitisation of Research-Facilitative Material at an Institute of
Education for Children with Multiple Disabilities" is scheduled on the
first day in the afternoon at the New Academic Building in the EFL University
campus adjacent to the campus of Osmania University at Tarnaka of Hydrabad.
Another highlight of the paper by Dr Lalit Kishore and Dr Alka
Awasthi of Disha is that its presentation has the concrete validity by the use
of language arts of non-poem and ABC pattern poetry.
The non-poem on advantages of digitization: Digitization - Makes
work paperless / Increases efficiency and productivity/ Reduces time of finding
relevant information / to a few seconds / Digitization Allows fast access and
sharing / of data of all kinds. With digitization Down goes the cost - Required
are no more cabinets, files or physical spaces. Digitization - Provides access
/ That is easy /That is anytime / That is anywhere. Acquire classification
skills/ Hone taxonomical skills /Imbibe indexing skills - To refine the search
results/ To become smart researcher / To earn green credits / To continue
digital content development / To survive and thrive
ABC Poem on digitization: A:
Analog-to-digital conversion of text, audio and picture as data B: Binary data
for computers and other devices with computing capacity such as digital
cameras, digital mikes or hearing aids C: Converting and organising information
into discrete units of data or bits and multiple-bit groups or bytes D:
Digitized information makes it easier to preserve access and share anytime and
anywhere E: Emerging trend is towards digitization of historical and cultural
data Sketch note.
