Both teams began the final game by coming out strongly, with Jaipur striking the first blow by sending Pardeep Narwal to the bench in the fourth minute with the score reading 2-2. Soon, thanks to a super raid by Rajesh Narwal, the Panthers were leading 6-2. However, by the 10th minute Patna Pirates led 9-6, all thanks to the efforts of Pardeep Narwal.
Jaipur Pink Panthers failed to keep Pardeep Narwal in check, as he scored with a two-point raid. Patna Pirates inflicted an all-out in the 15th minute to take the score to 16-11.
Soon Jasvir Singh got four points to bring the scores level at 16-16 in the 19th minute. In dying seconds of the first half Patna Pirates forced a super tackle to take the score to 19-16 in their favour.
Patna Pirates continued their dominance in the second half with the score reaching 31-23 within minutes. With 5 minutes left in the game, Patna Pirates increased their lead to 33-23. Patna Pirates adopted a smart strategy in the remaining game by conducting empty raids to avoid any risk of conceding a lead in the dying minutes.
The historic triumph was sealed for the Patna Pirates by Pardeep Narwal's two-point raid with the final score of 37-29 in the favour of Patna Pirates.
